Ciao! 😀Ne is often used when indirectly referring to a quantity or a topic. Let's look at some examples.

Voglio delle mele I want some apples.

Quante ne vuoi? How many (of them) do you want?

Hai sentito di cosa è successo in Italia? Did you hear what happened in Italy?

Sì ne ho sentito parlare Yes I heard about it .
