What is the difference between learned and learnt?

What is the difference between learned and learnt? I'm not sure, sometimes I see both versions. Do you know?

Both are used. It is more a preference depending on where you live. In the USA, and I think Canada as well, people prefer to use "Learned". As for the rest of the world "learnt" is commonly used.

When you use "learned" as adjective, only "learned" is correct.
