Hi Susan, it's Pawel from the Repeto team. Thank you for your question.
I'm sorry to say that currently, learners are unable to access the main part of the lesson without first completing the first two exercises. We had hoped this approach would work for the majority of students, but it seems we need to make our application more flexible to allow for more freedom. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused.
However, the good news is that after a long period of not introducing any changes, we are now in a position to bring more content and make changes to the functionality of our platform. I will consider how best to introduce this change relatively quickly. Perhaps we could add some general settings in the user account to allow for it.
If you notice anything else that we could optimize or change, please let me know. Thank you.
Thank you Paweł. It would be really useful to be able to listen to just the passage so I do hope you are able to bring this about.
I gave up on Polish a little while ago but I'm having another go. What I do like about your site is having the audio with or without the Polish and with or without the English translation directly beneath it. I am a visual learner and I need to link the auditory sound with a visual memory of the word. Another problem I've found is that when I finish my revision of one passage and go on to the next, I lose the sound. To restore it, I have to log out and log in again. Is this a common problem?
Thank you for letting me know about this issue Susan, I will have a closer look and try to resolve it. So if slides and first drag and drop are first and second exercises, then comes the main part, and then the list of vocabulary and final drag and drop. On which of these pages the sound is missing?
The sound is missing from the first drag and drop and then throughout the whole section. Sometimes the sound remains when going from one revision passage to another revision passage but disappears when going from revsion passage to a new one. The sound is restored by logging off and logging on again. I've also closed down computer and restarted to see if problem clears itself without success. I have an Apple Macbook. Is the problem linked with this?
Clarification to my earlier description, Paweł. The sound disappears when going from a revision passage to a new passage. In addition, I have no sound for any other apps on my laptop until I close down and restart. Just logging out and back in doesn't restore sound to Repeto.
Thank you Susan, I appreciate your help and will try to sort this out ASAP 😀
