Is Spanish language similar to English or German ?

Spanish is more similar to English than German in some ways, but it also has a lot of differences from both. Spanish and English both have a significant amount of vocabulary that comes from Latin, so you'll find some words that are similar, like "animal" or "important." 

But Spanish grammar is quite different from English, especially with verb conjugations, gendered nouns, and word order.

German, on the other hand, is a Germanic language like English, so its grammar is more similar to English in certain ways. 

However, German also has its own unique features, like noun cases, which Spanish does not have. So, while Spanish might feel a bit easier to learn for English speakers because of shared vocabulary, both languages have their own challenges!
