it depends on your definitionof fast! Polish is complex and will take you last least a year to get a basic handle on the language. Its better to study 30 min every day than 4 hours once a week. Otherwise you will quickly forget what you learned.

Hi Tawanda, thanks for the question I think that Laura, is absolutely right.

Quite often I stumble upon information that you can speak a foreing language well after just a few months (usually 3 😀). But this is not realistic expecially when the target language has got complex grammar and is not similar to our native one.

I have been learning French for over 5 years now. Yes my learning was not consistent at times and I can say that I can communicate in French but I'm very far from fluency.

I suppose that consistency is the key, doing some activities in foreing language every day without a fails will certainly help. I also believe that writing and speaking more will be also benefitial, reading and listening is easier and for that reason many people focus on those.
